How to Prepare Yourself to Find God  

 

We are living in the world but not of the world. The world by design is very grabby and noisy, preoccupies our attention. We forget about God. 

 

God has higher authority over earth. What are the precepts of God that has impact on the earth? How does this affect me not only after I die but right now on earth? 

 

You need to understand the mind of Christ. Why?

• To understand how God sees your situation
• To understand what He is trying to say to you
• To understand how you can communicate with Him: state your case, grievances etc.
• To access the resources of God that He makes available to you while on earth

They were Christians but they were feeling increasingly worried about the dilapidating state of the world and their lives, their homes. They believed in God and they thought that the power of God would come by now but things were getting worse and they see no sight of the victory of God. 

Listen to this story to reveal powerful truths to you. That Jesus is already here and standing in front of you, even speaking gently with you. His effort to nudge you in the right direction He wants you to go: what to expect and how to prepare for the future.

Signs of the End of the Age

Matt 24

³ The disciples came to him, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” ⁴ And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. ⁵ For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. ⁶ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. ⁸ All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

⁹ “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. ¹⁰ And then many will fall away^[a] and betray one another and hate one another. ¹¹ And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. ¹² And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. ¹³ But the one who endures to the end will be saved. ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Rest & Germinate

I feel strongly towards the year end that God wants us to REST.

In the modern world our mindset has been so tensed and multi-tasking that we have forgotten how to rest well. I am not talking about a rest where you worry and feel tensed even after you sleep. I am not talking about a rest where you over indulge in surfing the net, watch TV or video games and you don't feel rested at all. 

I feel strongly that for many of us, myself included, we do not know how to rest well in the Lord. 

In Genesis 2:21, when Adam felt secure in the comfort of God and slept in Him, God did all the heavy lifting and created a miracle for Adam. If you missed the chance to rest in God, then you may miss the chance for God to do miracles for you. 

As the world grows in turbulence around us, I truly believe that what differentiates Christians from non Christians will be our ability to rest unwaveringly in the Lord, unflustered and strong, ready to step up and lead, ready for our miracles any time.

 

Vision of Bride with a Sword

In Sep 2020, God gave me a vision of the body of Christ, the true Church, made up of million of dots, each dot representing a true believer who has overcome, forming the global bride of Christ. 

When the true Church, the bride of Christ arises in the End Days in this way, I saw that a huge, magnificent Sword was given to her to wield with power and authority in her hands. 

The manifestation of the Lion of Judah, the power of the Cross emanated out of her, signifying God's endorsement. It was this that the kingdom of darkness saw and the demonic forces were held at bay, they were cautious to approach because they recognized the power and anointing of the remnant. 

Puzzle pieces that don't fit

An intimate teaching from the Lord Jesus for you and me. Pieces of life that don't fit together. A puzzle picture of ourselves that cannot be completed. Until the Lord burns away the pieces that don't belong. Immediately He will furnish us the correct and excellent piece that fits our life. 

How to hear from God

Some Christians ask me, "How do I hear from God?" 

I share how I usually hear from God, hope that the tips will be useful 

1. Desperation and Determined

Genesis 32:25 Jacob wrestles with God. His hip bone gets out of socket and he now walks with a limp. God gives Jacob a new destiny as Jacob wrestled with God and men and prevailed. 

2. Ample time with God

Daniel 6:10 Daniel prayed 3 times a day

3. No Agenda

Luke 10:38 Mary and Martha. Mary was contented to sit by Jesus, listening to Him. Follow Jesus around, listening to whatever He wants to say.
